Admissions and Registration Requirements
Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies
The following tasks must be completed prior to the start of the program.

1. Attend Information Session
Please come to an Information Session at THEARC to learn about Trinity’s associate degree program.
You may register for an upcoming Information Session.
2. Apply for Admission
Please download a copy of the Application for Admission to Trinity’s Associate Degree Program
After you have completed and signed the application, please mail it to:

3. Submit Previous Education Verification
You must submit one of the following:
- An official high school transcript, or
- An official GED Transcript, or
- Official academic transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended
Please note: If you have attended another institution, you must submit an official college transcript. Please contact your previous institution and have the official transcript sent to the address above as soon as possible.
4. Complete the Skills Assessment
Once you have been accepted into the program, you will need to take the Skills Assessement. The Skills Assessment is used to determine your course placement for English and Math. The Skills Assessement must be completed onsite, either at THEARC or at Trinity’s Main Campus.
Register online to take the assessment.
Please note, this location is only for students interested in starting the associate’s degree at THEARC.
If you are planning to attend school on Trinity’s Main Campus, please schedule your Skills Assessment at that location.
If the above date/time do not fit your schedule, you may schedule a Skills Assessment on Main Campus.
If you have questions, comments or concerns about the assessment, please contact the

Please note: all students must take the Skills Assessment.
5. Register
After you have completed the Placement Exam, you may select your courses for the upcoming semester.

6. Make Payment Arrangements
The tuition for the AA degree is $165 per credit hour. Most courses are 3 credit hours, or $495. Please also estimate about $150 per course for the cost of books.
You have several options to finance your education: grants/student loans, a payment plan, or employer tuition reimbursement. Please contact Enrollment Services/Financial Aid for more information.
If you need assistance completing the FAFSA, you may complete it at THEARC or at Main Campus during specific times.

7. Attend New Student Orientation (Undergraduate)
New Student Orientation (Undergraduate) will be held on Trinity’s Main Campus – 125 Michigan Avenue, NE
Summer Session – Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 6pm
