    As a student, you have a constitutional right to register and vote in the place you consider to be “home” — whether that’s your parents’ house, your apartment, or your residence hall room. But before you make the important decision about where to vote, make sure you know the rules (and sometimes consequences) of registering to vote in that state.     8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 until 4:00 p.m. on  Thursday, September 18, 2014.

    CAS Students are encouraged  to participate in SGC elections. Whether it’s running for an SGA position, or voting for one, this is your way to have a direct impact on what happens on this campus.

    For Fall 2014 certification applications are due to Student Activities.

    Students interested in certifying a club or organization for the 2014-2015 academic year must submit all required paperwork to Student Activities by Friday September 12, 2014 at 5:00pm.

  • Model United Nations Student Club Interest Meeting

    - Are you interested in world politics, diplomacy, conflict and cooperation?

    - Do you want to have an international career?

    - How about participating in a competitive activity in which you get to put your knowledge and social skills to the test against students from other colleges across the country?

    Well, then come join the United Nations…the Model United Nations, that is.

    There will be an informational meeting about the Model United Nations tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm in Social Hall. Come learn about this exciting activity! We need officers and members. Even if you don’t want to travel to conferences, you can still have fun with your fellow Trinity students.

    For the past two years, high-school security guard Ben has been trying to show decorated APD detective James that he’s more than just a video-game junkie who’s unworthy of James’ sister, Angela. When Ben finally gets accepted into the academy, he thinks he’s earned the seasoned policeman’s respect and asks for his blessing to marry Angela. Knowing that a ride along will demonstrate if Ben has what it takes to take care of his sister, James invites him on a shift designed to scare the trainee. But when the wild night leads them to the most notorious criminal in the city, James will find that his new partner’s rapid-fire mouth is just as dangerous as the bullets speeding at it.

    Final Exam Survival Kits sponsored by the Student Government Council will be handed-out in Alumnae Hall and Main Hall between 12noon-2pm

    Also on Thursday, 4/24 “Ask ASC” (Academic Services Center) will be available to answer questions about effective studying strategies between 11:45am-12:15pm and 1:15-1:45pm in Alumnae Hall.

    And be sure to attend the Final Exam Techniques Session; LIB 208 at 3pm
