Trinity Athletics presents Healthy Living: Nutrition Seminar for Athletes and Health Enthusiasts!  The seminar will focus on how to use food to optimize your health, recovery, and energy levels.  Seminar speaker, Chris Hayes, will aim to inform you about tips and ways to maintain a healthy and nutritious lifestyle as a college student. The seminar will simply transform your thinking about the value of fitness and food consumption in your everyday lives.

4:45pm – 5:30pm in Payden Academic Center Room 103

Seminar Speaker: Chris Hayes

Chris Hayes is Coppin State’s Director of Basketball Performance. Hayes has also served as  Performance Coach in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ minor league system, based in Glendale, AZ.

Prior to mentoring under the Dodgers’ performance staff in Arizona, Hays was a Performance Fellow at the University of Louisville, where he studied under Teena Murray, now Director of Health & Performance for the Sacramento Kings. At Louisville, he worked with various teams while assisting closely with Women’s Basketball, including future lottery pick, Asia Durr, and WNBA champion, Myisha Hines-Allen.

Hayes earned his Master of Exercise Science from the George Washington University and his  Bachelors degree from Slippery Rock University.
