But it is easy to do and a few tips regarding citation elements and paraphrasing can improve your writing and assist you in acknowledging the scholars and practitioners who you use to support your academic papers, especially the capstone or thesis paper. This seminar is appropriate for any SPS student in any degree program.

This workshop will detail the important parts of the academic plan which include understanding the role of core classes and major requirements, minimum grades, GPA calculation, and the importance of satisfactory academic progress. The workshop will also provide an overview of how to access this information via Self-Service.
The Writing Process Workshop

Students will be given strategies to help them effectively chose topics, focus, and prepare outlines. Topics covered will include: prewriting, drafting, revising, and proofreading.
