Trinity is cancelling evening classes (6pm or later) tonight and closing tomorrow.

February 12, 2014 - TO:  The Trinity Community   FR:  President Patricia McGuire   TONIGHT   We have just learned that D.C. has declared a “snow emergency” starting at 6:30 pm this evening.  This means NO PARKING ON SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES and any cars found parking on such routes will incur a $250 ticket and be towed at a cost of $100.   Because Michigan Avenue is a snow emergency route, and because so many of our students park out there, we have decided that the most prudent thing to do is to cancel classes that start at or after 6 pm.   This … Continue reading

Weather Forecast notes from our President

February 11, 2014 - TO:  The Trinity Community   FR:  President Patricia McGuire   RE:  Weather Forecast   We are all watching the predictions of a major storm developing that will sweep up the coast starting on Wednesday evening and continuing through Thursday afternoon.  As of this writing, we cannot know with any precision what this storm will yield, but chances are we will have accumulating snow, ice, freezing rain and other unpleasant conditions.   We will make a decision about Trinity’s status sometime late tomorrow afternoon or early evening when we have more information about the storm track.  We will certainly be attentive … Continue reading

Jeannette Frett joins Trinity as the new Dean of Business and Graduate Studies

February 5, 2014 - I am delighted to announce that Jeannette Frett has joined Trinity as our Dean of Business and Graduate Studies, effective February 3.   Dean Frett’s background attests to her many strengths as she continues developing and leading the Business and Graduate Studies that Dean Telaekah Brooks has shepherded with colleagues in the School of Professional Studies.  A native Washingtonian who graduated from Wells College when it was still an all-women’s college, Dean Frett brings a deep appreciation of programming in women’s colleges.  Her MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park, provides even more grounding in regional as well as … Continue reading
