Not sure when your Monday or Saturday Spring 2014 classes start? See below

This message was sent earlier by our provost, Dr. Virginia Broaddus:

Some students have inquired about classes that meet on Mondays, including those classes that meet once a week (Monday evening and Monday morning seminars).  Due to the holiday on Monday, January 20, these classes will have their first scheduled class meeting on Monday, January 27.   There is a similar situation with Saturday classes, which will have their first scheduled class meeting on Saturday, January 25. Faculty will, of course, have their syllabi posted earlier and students will be able to purchase books and materials prior to their first class meeting.

All other classes will have their first scheduled meeting date as listed below.  For instance, SPS, NHP, and EDU classes that meet on Tuesday evenings will have their first session Tuesday, January 14.  CAS classes that meet on Mondays and Wednesdays will have their first meeting on Wednesday, January 15. SPS Term 1 and Weekly classes begin on Tuesday, January 14th.

Students who have questions about their specific class start date can contact the dean’s office for their academic unit or can contact my office (Academic Affairs).  We are always happy to address questions and concerns, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for a wonderful semester!
