This two-day skills training is aimed at women starting their D.C. careers. Through a series of interactive workshops, current students, recent graduates, and young professional women will gain the skills and leadership training needed to begin their careers in D.C., as well as a better understanding of the types of careers available to them. Workshops will be led by career coaches, social media consultants, public policy experts, and professional women who will share their career experiences and advice with you. See the agenda here.
We’re pleased to announce that the PLEN360° Summit Keynote Speaker will be Louisa Terrell, Director, US Public Policy for Facebook, Inc.
Prior to joining Facebook, Louisa was appointed by President Barack Obama as a Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs at the White House. Before joining the presidential transition team in 2008, Louisa functioned as Yahoo!’s Senior Director of Public Policy. Prior to working for Yahoo!, Louisa worked for then–‐Senator Joseph Biden from 2001–‐2008, first as counsel on his Judiciary Committee staff and then as his Deputy Chief of Staff.
