The National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is interested in hiring a temporary worker to conduct internet and library research on major US Corporations. NTCIC (www.ntcicfunds.com) forms business partnerships with corporations who agree to make investments in historic properties to earn federal Historic Tax Credits as part of a broader federal and state tax mitigation strategy.
· Research and draft profiles on the 25 largest US corporate taxpayers
· Profiles will include:
o a summary of each company’s latest audited financial statements
o a summary of company lines of business, locations of headquarters and other physical facilities, corporate giving history and the names/bios of the chief investment officer, chief financial officer, CEO or equivalent senior management.
o Identification of each company’s key geographic markets
o Any information found on prior involvement with federal or state historic, low-income housing, renewable energy or new markets tax credits
· Skills, experience needed:
o MBA or graduate accounting degree candidate
o Sufficient accounting experience to read and understand corporate financial statements
o Research and writing experience
