Part time Intern needed. Ideal for graduate students.


The National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is interested in hiring a temporary worker to conduct internet and library research on major US Corporations. NTCIC ( forms business partnerships with corporations who agree to make investments in historic properties to earn federal Historic Tax Credits as part of a broader federal and state tax mitigation strategy.

· Research and draft profiles on the 25 largest US corporate taxpayers

· Profiles will include:

o a summary of each company’s latest audited financial statements

o a summary of company lines of business, locations of headquarters and other physical facilities, corporate giving history and the names/bios of the chief investment officer, chief financial officer, CEO or equivalent senior management.

o Identification of each company’s key geographic markets

o Any information found on prior involvement with federal or state historic, low-income housing, renewable energy or new markets tax credits

· Skills, experience needed:

o MBA or graduate accounting degree candidate

o Sufficient accounting experience to read and understand corporate financial statements

o Research and writing experience
