Trinity is hosting a Citywide Food Drive, this Saturday, January 19, as part of the 57th Presidential Inaugural Committee National Day of Service. More than 200 volunteers will be coming to Trinity’s campus to participate in this Day of Service food drive. And you can be a part of it!
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate – Donate Food! Volunteer!
VOLUNTEER!
Volunteer on Saturday, January 19, O’Connor Auditorium
Two volunteer shifts: 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon, 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm
Volunteer slots are limited, you must register in advance – e-mail your name, cell number and which shift you want to: campusministry@trinitydc.edu
Volunteers: Please wear Trinity t-shirts, sweatshirts and ballcaps; you may be volunteering inside or outside – so bring a coat!
DONATE FOOD!
Everyone can participate by donating these food items at collection boxes in the Basement of Main Hall, Tuesday – Friday, January 15-18:
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Tuna
- Beans
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Fruit
- Cereals (Hot/Cold)
- Boxed Juices
- Jelly/Jam in Jars
- Instant Baby Formula
- Powdered Milk
Collected food will be donated to area food banks and food pantries. In January, after the holidays, supplies are depleted at food banks and pantries. People in the D.C. area community need your support!
