Resources for Plagiarism and Understanding Academic Honesty at Trinity

October 25, 2012 - Over the past few semesters, I have seen an increase in the number of plagiarism and academic dishonesty cases in the School of Professional Studies. I wanted to take this opportunity to outline the many resources that are available to help prevent these issues. Prevention is the key.   Your professor is your first resource. Appeal to stop Wal-Mart in D.C. is dismissed

October 18, 2012 - Date: Wednesday, October 17, 2012, 10:47am EDT The Washington Business Journal is reporting that  recent legal efforts to block WalMart’s development of a Georgia Avenue, NW store have failed. A D.C. zoning panel Tuesday dismissed a last-ditch appeal of Wal-Mart opponents related to the retailer’s proposed Georgia Avenue NW store. Groundbreaking for the store at 5929 Georgia Ave. has been delayed as Wal-Mart foes mount legal challenge after challenge. You missed a wonderful presentation on Telling Your story and Developing a 30 second Elevator Pitch on Tuesday Night

October 18, 2012 - On Tuesday night, we had an excellent Dean’s List ceremony that honored those UG students of scholarship from Spring and Summer 2012. It was followed by a very dynamic presentation from Adam Nelson that helped students develop their 30 second and four minute stories or elevator pitches.
