 About the position

The IT&C Associate will work closely with the Policy Director and the Policy and Communications Senior Associate to manage all information systems, including website and database administration, and implement Woodstock’s communications plan. The IT&C Associate will adapt Woodstock’s content for web and email campaigns and develop new web content; evaluate, track, and report usage of the website and other communication channels; conduct media and public relations and special events marketing; produce organizational materials; ensure that Woodstock’s style guide is applied consistently; and assist in developing and implementing new strategies as necessary. This is a full-time position located in Chicago with competitive salary and generous benefits, including 6% employer contribution to retirement account after first year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information science, communications, graphic design, or related field, and two years’ experience, including email list management and institutional social media strategy.

 

Basic understanding of content management systems, HTML and CSS, web visualizations, and familiarity with constituent/contact relationship management systems required. Experience with photo editing; Drupal or Joomla CMS, including template creation and database management; and Salesforce.com preferred.

 

Excellent written and spoken English language communications skills required; Spanish or other foreign language ability preferred.

 

Self-motivation, initiative and leadership, ability to work independently and work effectively with people at all levels and in an organized manner in a fast-paced environment.

 

Experience in grant proposal and report writing preferred.
