DUTIES:
Reporting to the Community Affairs Officer, the incumbent will perform various tasks necessary to carry out the mission of the Community Affairs Program and the region specific annual business plan. These task include, but are not limited to, representing the FDIC and Division as a speaker or participant at events, interagency task forces, committees and working groups related to Community Development, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Fair Lending, and Consumer Protection, including meetings and forums with bankers, community organizations and consumers. Will be responsible for conducting meetings, briefings, and presenting information to senior management, supervisors and others concerning major corporate policy initiatives. Topics often involve highly sensitive and controversial subjects which are presented before others with opposing viewpoints and conflicting goals. Incumbent will serve as a point of contact and information exchange between the public, the financial industry and FDIC divisions and offices to share knowledge of activities and resolve issues related to CRA, fair lending, community development, consumer protection laws and regulations and program initiatives. Will successfully manage multiple projects, with varying time frames and priority levels, compile reports and maintain data related to program activities and initiatives. Develop material and conduct training for financial institutions, the public, FDIC staff and others with respect to CRA, Fair Lending, Community Development and program initiatives. SALARY RANGE: $71,317.00 to $149,399.00 / Per Year
