CONTROLLER – NATIONAL NFP

National not-for-profit organization based in NYC seeks controller — responsibilities include preparing and reviewing internal financial statements, assisting external accountants with the annual audit process, reviewing tax returns prepared by external accountants, financial servicing, and working with our asset management team to provide in-depth financial analysis. This position will be based in NYC and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. 

The prospective candidate should be a Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of  2-3 years of experience in either public accounting or nonprofit financial management. The- candidate must be familiar with the New Markets Tax Credit program and have strong computer, financial, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
