JOB LOCATION:               WASHINGTON, DC

TITLE:                                   Associate Director of Medical Services (RN)

DEPARTMENT:                 Medical Services-Health Policy               

SUPERVISOR:                  Associate Executive Director of Medical Services-Health Policy

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provides the organization with the professional expertise in medical and health care services relevant to those with spinal cord injury or disease.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a Registered Nurse who is currently licensed by a state, commonwealth or by theDistrict of Columbia. The incumbent must have a minimum of two (2) years spinal cord injury and/or disease experience. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required and management training is a plus. Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with Department of Veterans Affairs, PTF, case management techniques, and clinical record interpretation.  Some travel required.
