The National Society of Hispanic MBAs offers scholarships in the amount of $2,500 – $10,000 including a $250 travel reimbursement to attend the annual NSHMBA Conference & Career Expo for full and part-time MBA students studying at an accredited (AACSB) institution.
Submit applications online during scholarship application period (March 1, 2012 – April 30, 2012) at http://www.nshmba.org/scholarship.
Applicants are selected on the basis of academic achievement, work experience, financial need, personal statement of goals and aspirations, community service, letters of recommendation, and future NSHMBA ambassadorship.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be a US citizen or legal permanent resident
Be of Hispanic heritage
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) from a bachelor’s or master’s degree OR have a minimum GPA of 2.75 from a bachelor’s degree in combination with two years of full-time work experience
Be a current NSHMBA member (applicants who are not members can enroll as associate members for FREE)
Be enrolled at an AACSB accredited graduate business program in the US or Puerto Rico at the time of the award
