POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT – Americorps*VISTA
Help build a new Credit Union in Fresno, CA!
Fresno CDFI is in the final stages of submitting for the charter of a new Community Development Credit Union to serve Fresno County, CA. We are looking for the right candidate to fill an Americorps*VISTA position that will work with Credit Union and Fresno CDFI staff to develop new programs and services. The position will initially be focused on developing financial literacy programs and marketing, and will grow into new areas of opportunity as the Credit Union is established.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 year degree in communications, finance or related field preferred.
• Fluent English. A second language is an advantage.
• Good organizational and communication skills, good judgment and strong interpersonal skills
• Empathy with the cause of credit unions and community development and commitment to supporting Fresno CDFI’s mission, vision, and values
