We have an immediate opening for a qualified individual to work on a multidisciplinary team that supports knowledge application and dissemination studies involving various community-based, institutional, and home care settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interfacing with members of various types of multidisciplinary teams (i.e., academic research, community-based collaboratives, learning networks, and health service delivery consortia) located in various geographic locations. The successful candidate will enjoy supporting tasks involving literature scans, data collection and management, product development, and in-person meetings; conference calls, webinars, and podcasts; development of toolkit materials; use of benchmarking databases; and development and pilot testing of new performance measures. Successful candidates will need to become familiar with and have an interest in patient culture in health care, as well as quality and patient safety improvement, and behavioral health research. Knowledge and use of various research methods, cultural competence, and health disparities concepts are desirable. Requires the ability to multitask and work on a breadth of activities. Skill with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is critical. A successful candidate is proactive, able to take initiative, and able to work well independently as well as in teams. Good written and verbal communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills are essential.
An M.A. or M.P.H degree in the social sciences, public health, epidemiology, or health services research is required; additional work experience is a plus.
