Get a Head Start on the May Term!

I know that many of you (about 100 or so) are taking May term courses to get ahead by three credits. It is the perfect opportunity to gather 3 credits toward graduation in a compressed timeframe. This year, the May term for SPS will begin on Monday, May 23rd and end on Friday, May 27th. Classes will last from 9am to 5pm each day, with a break for lunch.

This compressed term works well for the busy student who can take one week off of work to focus on their education. I would like to stress, however, that you should obtain and start reading the assigned textbook(s) before the term begins. It is much easier and more productive to discuss material after you have read it at least once, than if you are seeing it for the first time in class. I am attaching the booklist for all of you in this email to help facilitate this process.

Good luck with the rest of your Spring 2011 term!
