At Trinity, undergraduates achieve senior status once they have completed 92 credits in their degree program. This is an important benchmark for you and comes with class rings, Cap and Gown weekend, convocation and other events. It is an exciting time and you can see the finish line.
It will now also be accompanied by a senior ‘check in’ with your academic advisor. This meeting will give you an opportunity to make sure that you are right on track to graduate. You will be able to plan most, if not all, of your final semesters at Trinity with your advisor. You will also consider your time to graduation, which depends on whether your last semesters will be full-time or part-time and if you want to take summer, may or winter semester classes to augment your schedule. You can look at your graduate school opportunities and begin (or finish) thinking about the new careers that you will be ready for.
If you are a senior now, or a graduate student with more than 18 credits, you should contact your advisor to have a senior ‘check in’ appointment. If you are not sure who your advisor is, click on Student Services to the left and choose Meet Your Advisors. See you soon and congratulations on achieving senior status.
