Pre- Thanksgiving Thoughts

As you prepare to travel and feast with your loved ones, please do not forget that finals are right around the corner. Enjoy your time and fellowship fully, and try to sneak in a moment or two of study. You might even want to dabble online and register for your Winter and Spring classes in Self Service (they are filling up fast!).

December graduates know that their exciting day is on the horizon. December 16th will be here before you know it. Please make sure to have all of your official transcripts in from other institutions (if needed), RSVP for the ceremony and check out rings and regalia with Jostens on December 2nd and 3rd in the Rose Parlor. You can purchase your gown and mortar board in the bookstore.

Thanksgiving is one of a few uniquely American holidays that not particularly tied to a religious belief but embodied by a feeling of community. It began with arms outstretched to strangers, offering suport, food and compassion. Let’s all reflect on that feeling and offer good tidings to our fellow students, faculty and staff. Have a happy and safe holiday.
