Spring 2011 Course Changes and Improvements

October 28, 2010 - There are some exciting updates and changes for the Spring semester in SPS that should interest you as you prepare to register for the Spring 2011 semester (registration begins November 1st). We are bringing back the ALT WEEKLY format. In this format, selected term classes are being piloted for implementation over the entire semester. These classes will meet every other week (1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th) on the assigned day for sixteen weeks. The December 2010 Graduation is Almost Here!

October 28, 2010 - This semester is chugging right along like a steam engine and we are getting closer and closer to December graduation. For the 70 or so of you that completed your degree in August or will complete your degree in December, this is a very exciting time! It is going to be a beautiful event. Registration for Winter 1 Week Term Starts November 1st

October 28, 2010 - We have a very exciting list of offerings for the Winter semester this year. It is fast, intense, and an excellent opportunity to earn 3 credits towards your degree. If you need another 3 credits to help you graduate in May, this term is for you. Registration begins November 1st. The Winter term, like the May term, is a one week semester. This year, the Winter Term will last from Monday, January 3rd until Saturday, January 8th.  SPS Classes only run from Monday to Friday. Why You Should Apply for Scholarships

October 14, 2010 - Scholarships are free money that is available to students to offset or pay for the cost of college. Why pay for college with loans and out of pocket money if you can write a few essays and go for free? Students have to apply for scholarships, which are awarded on a case-by-case basis and are often based upon merit. They do not Have to be paid back!!! I repeat, they do not have to be paid back.
