Vehicle Assistance Program
DPS will respond to all requests for vehicle assistance and may provide assistance for complaints such as a flat tire or dead battery. University students, faculty, staff, guests and affiliates requesting this service must be parked on (or immediately near) the campus.
In acting on requests, and in all instances, DPS reserves the right to make case by case assessments depending on varying circumstances or situations, particularly as they relate to safety. Individuals/owners requesting vehicle assistance will be required to sign a liability waiver.
DPS does not provide tools or assistance related to vehicle lockouts, as this is a specialized service that should be performed only by trained professionals. However, DPS can facilitate making contact with AAA (membership) or a local locksmith.
DPS will make every effort to provide a timely response to these types of calls for service, but caution that other conditions and/or calls for service may take priority. Contact DPS Communications Center at 9111 with requests for vehicle assistance.
