School of Nursing & Health Professions
The School of Nursing and Health Professions (NHP) educates health care leaders who make a difference in their patients’ lives as well as in the larger community. Our students care for others by assessing and treating their patients’ injuries and/or illnesses within the context of their life situations.
Nursing: NHP offers a pre-licensure B.S.N. program for students pursuing their first undergraduate degree, and a second degree B.S.N. for students who hold a baccalaureate degree. NHP also offers an R.N.-to-B.S.N and R N. to M.S.N. program that awards advanced standing for registered nurses holding an associate’s degree or diploma in nursing. NHP also offers a master of science in nursing (M.S.N.).
Occupational Therapy: NHP offers a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (M.O.T.). Trinity is transitioning to an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) baccalaureate degree to launch Fall 2020.
Health Services: NHP offers a post-secondary certificate in Community Health Worker and a B.A. in Health Services in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Professional Studies and a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH).
