The Arts Program at Trinity

Take advantage of the wide array of theatre, dance and music in Washington through the Trinity Arts program.  This exciting program offers Trinity students free and reduced price tickets to area performances and brings local artists and directors to campus to discuss their work.

Production of Henry IV - Image (C) Shakespeare Thatre CompanyShakespeare Theatre:  The Trinity Arts program partners with the Learning Communities that are a part of the first-year experience for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Each Learning Community will collectively attend one performance at the Shakespeare Theatre at no cost to the students. Up-to-date information about events, tickets and student discounts will be made via the Trinity web site and e-mail.

Free Theatre Tickets:  The Trinity Arts program also offers all students opportunities to attend performances at area theaters; there is limited availability for these free tickets.  Students can sign up for tickets for these performances on a first come, first served basis. Due to limited availability, only students with a valid Trinity ID may use these free tickets. Individual shows will be promoted to students and to student clubs.

Kennedy Center Millenium Stage - Image (c) The Kennedy CenterDiscounted Tickets and Free Performances:  The Trinity Arts program also promotes student access to the arts through discount ticket sales and free performances offered by various theater and arts centers in the metropolitan area. These centers include, but are not limited to, Arena Stage’s Student Ambassador program, the Strathmore’s Student Rush and the Kennedy Center’s Millennium stage.

Trinity Presents:  Trinity will host on campus writers, directors, artistic directors and performers discussing or presenting their craft.  These programs will provide unique experiences of art and culture in an intimate setting with the convenience of being on campus.
