Mark Stevens

A graduate student in the School of Professional Studies (SPS), Mark Stevens is a candidate for a Master of Arts in Communication with a focus in Political Communication. He hopes to use his degree to work on Capitol Hill in a communications department for a Senator or Congressman/woman. “Or get a job with a Public Relations Firm,” Mark adds.

Trinity’s School of Professional Studies specializes in innovative business, technology, and liberal arts programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels designed for men and women, seeking to advance their careers or make a career change. But why did Mark choose Trinity? “I chose Trinity because of the rich history, small class size, and schedule flexibility.”

Mark has not been disappointed, especially with the small class sizes. The intimate learning environment has allowed him to excel and connect with his professors, his favorite aspect of Trinity. “[The professors] are always there to answer questions, and provide a helping hand whenever you need them. The professors at Trinity make me feel comfortable while I’m in class. It is a truly wonderful experience.”

Mark’s career in politics is already soaring. Mark was elected as a Graduate Representative on the SPS Student Governance Executive Board and has just been elected ANC Commissioner of ANC 3B03 in Washington, DC.

Good luck, Mark! We’ll look for you on Capitol Hill.
