ADIRONDACK CHRONICLES XXVI

Back to the Adirondacks!  Cool nights, cool days, lots of cool wildlife….

CHIPMUNK (Large)

Chipmunks are already storing up goodies for the winter…

BUTTERFLY (Large)Of course, the minute I saw purple and gold, I had to get this monarch butterfly!

DUCK CHICKS 1 (Large)

It’s chick season again and the wee ones are all over the place!

WAXWING (Large)

Cedar waxwings rule the roost in these forests…

STEERS (Large)Betcha didn’t expect that, did you?  Farming is a big deal up here, and many farms have a few steers to keep the cows happy..

TURTLE (Large)Hardest thing this turtle did all day was raise its head to see what that photographer is up to!

LOON (Large)Loons just love to show off!

It’s great to be back here in the “wilderness”… well, those photos are from the woods, but to find connectivity I have to come to town… More to come!
