APPROVE COURSE SCHEDULE PROCEDURE

To approve student schedules submitted for advisor approval first connect to IQ Web from the Trinity home page http://www.trinitydc.edu and click on the For Faculty/Staff  link at the top of the page.  Then click on Login to IQ Web.

Once your advisee has submitted a schedule for approval via IQ Web you will receive an email prompting you to review their schedule.  Please note that receiving the email is not necessary to approve the schedules, should the mail delivery system experience a delay you can still approve a student’s schedule.

Once logged on to IQ Web click on Approve schedules (located on the left side column).

NOTE: Only students who have pending course schedules that require approval will appear on the Approve Course Schedule page.

You may use the search fields to look for a specific advisee or you may select the Search button (leaving all search criteria fields blank) to select all Advisees needing to have their schedules approved.

·        Click on the Magnifying Glass Icon to view Advisee Schedule.

·        The Advisor will see all courses for which the Advisee would like to register.

·        Click on the Approve or Decline buttons once you have reviewed the schedule for Credit Type, checked overall credit limits and have insured that the student is requesting to register for classes that will meet degree requirements and has adhered to academic policy.  Once you have reviewed the schedule you may enter any desired comments and then click the Process button at the bottom of the page.
