Assistant Director of Admissions - Transfer

Trinity in Washington, a comprehensive university in the nation’s capital, seeks an experienced, energetic, sales oriented Admissions professional to recruit transfer students for undergraduate programs.  This assistant director will focus on outreach to community colleges, other two-year institutions, as well as students who have attended four-year institutions who now desire to enroll at Trinity.  The incumbent will also develop business relationships with local health care institutions and providers for the recruitment of nursing students. The assistant director will plan and implement recruiting strategies for transfer and nursing students; facilitate transfer credit evaluation, review applications for admission and assist students through the transfer admission and enrollment process.  All admissions personnel must be willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support recruiting activities to achieve recruiting goals.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, and previous experience in undergraduate admissions, preferably with experience in transfer and nursing recruiting.  Incumbent must demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail; and excellent oral and written communications skills. Must be self motivated, sales and customer service oriented, personable and able to work with minimal supervision.  Experience with PC database applications, preferring Power Campus and Microsoft Office Suite.
