Trinity College on the Hill

Washington, D.C., November 30, 2000 - Trinity College is building on the success of a century of education and leading the way into the next with its new School of Professional Studies.

Featuring co-educational undergraduate and graduate programs geared toward working adults, the School of Professional Studies is bringing education to the heart of Capitol Hill for busy working professionals. Trinity on the Hill is located at The Hall of States, 444 North Capitol Street, N.W., just a few minutes' walk from Union Station.

"We understand the needs of the working student," said Sara Thompson, dean of the School of Professional Studies, "so we are offering a program that is in an accessible location and in an accelerated format.".

Both programs will be taught by full-time Trinity faculty and regional business leaders who are experts in their fields.

In the undergraduate program, adults may earn baccalaureate degrees in business administration; human relations, communications, international studies, economics, public affairs, English, and Social Science.

The graduate program offers a Master of Arts in Community Health Promotion and Education, and a Master of Science in Administration, with tracks in human resource development, human resource management, and non-profit/association management.

Students in the undergraduate program may complete the business-oriented degrees in as few as 18 months, taking courses just two evenings a week. This focused, accelerated curriculum for part-time professionals will help students stay on the leading edge of the job market.
