Since 1776, election to Phi Beta Kappa has been recognized as a distinctive honor for those who meet the highest standards of achievement in the study of the liberal arts. The Epsilon Chapter at Trinity, chartered in 1971, annually elects eligible juniors and seniors to membership based on their fulfillment of the requirements established by the Chapter and by Phi Beta Kappa. Members are elected on the basis of scholarly achievement, broad intellectual interests and good character.

Seniors inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, who will graduate from Trinity on May 18, 2008, are:

Rihem Badwe
Jessica D. Dickerson
Ryan Alexis Harper
Reva Leigh Hoosier
Mary Kathleen Loughran
