TRINITY is the official alumnae and alumni magazine of Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC. Published three times a year, the magazine chronicles current campus news and updates from our ever-growing community of Trinity graduates.
Fall 2009 - President's Report and Honor Roll of Donors
The Fall 2009 issue of TRINITY magazine contains the President's Report and Honor Roll of Donors. In September, Trinity's Cap and Gown Convocation speaker, Philonda Johnson '05, motivated Trinity's seniors and all of the Trinity family with her speech about giving back and the importance of education. Read about Trinity's enrollment boom: more than 2,000 students are enrolled at Trinity this fall! Profiles show the breadth of Trinity's donors to the Trinity Annual Fund and other restricted areas. Summer 2009 - Commencement 2009
This issue of TRINITY focuses on the graduates of the 2009 Commencement. Though there was a threat of rain, the sun began to shine just as the students, in caps and gowns, began their procession from Main Hall to the lawn of the library. Three hundred forty-six students became Trinity alumnae and alumni on May 17, 2009, with more than three thousand parents, family and friends cheering them on. Some graduates are going on to law school or graduate school, others have great jobs waiting for them. Trinity celebrates them all. Cover & Table of contents
Spring 2009 - In Celebration of Community Organizers
This issue of TRINITY celebrates graduates who have gone on to become community organizers. From Gloria Guard '67 talking about the geomoetric power of healing to Veronica Nolan '99 opening doors for D.C. youth. Irma Rivera '05 is helping immigrant families through her work at CentroNia, and Marguerite Kirst Colston '89 is an advocate for people with autism at the Autism Society of America. This issue highlights Denise Hyater '98 helping save lives at the American Cancer Society and Trinity's celebration of the election of Barack Obama. Fall 2008 - President's Report and Honor Roll of Donors
The college experience is one of academic pursuit, but so many of the lessons we learn come to us not through textbooks but through teachers and administrators, sharing their love of learning and lessons for life. For generations of Trinity students, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur have been a tremendous influence. Summer 2008 - Trinity's Commencement
Trinity's 105th Commencement Address is delivered by Jonetta Rose Barras '96, a Weekend College graduate, sending off the Class of 2008. Meet eleven graduates of the class of 2008 as they look toward their future. Kate Moira Ryan '87 is a playwright with plays running in Washington, DC, and New York City. Thora Jacobson '70 is leading the push to make Philadelphia the print capital of the world by promoting Philagraphika. Fall 2007 - Trinity's Entrepreneurial Spirit
This issue of TRINITY magazine celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of Trinity alumnae. Claire Lamborne Walker ’64 opened a restaurant, giving readers insight on what it takes to launch a new enterprise. Susan Widmayer ’68 brings an entrepreneurial spirit to the nonprofit sector, as the founder and executive director of a major health care organization. Debbie Salerno Moran ’90 created a company that provides health and wellness services to cancer survivors after her own battle with breast cancer. Gerianne Smart ’82 has built a public relations firm that is part of Vermont’s expanding creative economy.

Fall 2005 - Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence
Analyzing top-secret information for the CIA may not be the first career path that comes to mind when one thinks of a Trinity graduate. Yet a Trinity education is exactly what today’s U.S. intelligence agencies are seeking: a foundation in the liberal arts, excellent writing and verbal skills, the ability to think critically and analytically and strong research skills.
