Letter to the Senior Class from the Registrar
Dear Seniors,
Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your summer and are looking forward to your senior year. You are eligible to participate in Cap and Gown Weekend given that our records indicate that you are nearing completion of your degree.
To earn the privilege of wearing the cap and gown and participate in the festivities, a student must have earned at least 92 semester hours (credits) towards a degree and be in good academic standing. A student who is on probation for a semester of their senior year may not wear their cap and gown.
As you near this important milestone - graduation, you will need some important information. You must file an application for graduation within the timelines stipulated:
- For Fall graduation all applications must be received by October 1, 2007 and all official transcripts (for course work completed outside of Trinity) must be received by October 15.
- For Spring graduation all applications must be received by February 1, 2008 and all official transcripts (for course work completed outside of Trinity) must be received by February 15.
You may download the graduation application from the Office of the Registrar website and clicking on "Forms."
The graduation fee is $120.00. This fee is assessed to all students eligible for graduation regardless of their intent to participate in the ceremony. Once your form and fee are received, an audit of your credits will be conducted by your academic advisor and a determination will be made as to your eligibility for graduation.
