A New Marketing Campaign for Trinity

Engaging Admissions Search Piece and Innovative Customized Web Pages

The Challenge

To create an effective admissions marketing campaign that is distinctive, highly visual and engaging and conveys the distinctive opportunities and experiences of a Trinity education. The guidelines for the search brochure to prospective students were to be heavy on graphics and light on text with a message that is pithy and upbeat.  The campaign is designed to promote Washington as the center of action and a great college town full of opportunities. The campaign emphasizes Trinity's links to important people and places in the nation's capitol – Congressional internships, intelligence agencies, proximity to NASA and NIH, as well as great theatre and arts and social life. The campaign is a dramatic departure from the descriptive narratives of previous publications.

The campaign includes a search brochure mailing, customized web pages for each recipient, and e-mail messages. Additional materials will be developed as part of the campaign, which was launched in spring 2006.

Search Brochure

Goal: To create an image for Trinity that connects with young women in high school that is highly visual and engaging and conveys the distinctive opportunities and experiences of a Trinity education. The creative team focused on a student, Michelle Mitchell, to share the amazing opportunities she has experienced at Trinity.
