than 200 Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Trinity students, alumnae,
faculty and staff gathered on Trinity’s campus
for a weekend-long symposium, Educating Women and Girls Worldwide:
The Global Challenge and the Legacy of St. Julie Billiart. The symposium,
held September 10 – 12, and presented by the Trinity Institute
for Women's Leadership, celebrated 200 years of the Sisters of Notre
Dame de Namur, the order that founded Trinity in 1897.
