National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

Trinity College recently mailed a survey, “The College Student Report” to almost all seniors and first-year students in the College of Arts and Sciences. This survey is also known as the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). Trinity is interested in learning about what you feel you are gaining from your campus experiences. Completing the survey will take about 15 minutes and will help Trinity in providing improved educational opportunities for future students. In addition, your response is important because the questionnaire is being given to students at hundreds of other American colleges and universities. The results will help Trinity evaluate and compare the experiences you and other students at Trinity College are reporting with those of students at other schools throughout the country.

If you received the survey in the mail, you can complete and mail the survey. You may also complete the survey online - you will need to enter your Survey ID and your Password (you have a unique ID and password included in your letter).

Click here to access the survey.

If you have any difficulty logging in, please e-mail help@collegereport.org or call 1-800-676-0390 for assistance.

Please be assured that your answers are confidential. No individual's answers will ever be identified in any report. In addition, your participation is voluntary, though we very much hope you will respond. If you would like more information about the survey, contact the National Survey of Student Engagement ( www.iub.edu/~nsse ) via e-mail at info@collegereport.org or call 812-856-5824. Should you have any questions about the project on this campus we encourage you to contact Mrs. Cynthia Emory at emoryc@trinitydc.edu or 202-884-9208. If you have any questions or concerns about your rights as a participant in this research project, you may contact the Indiana University Office of Human Subjects Committee at iub_hsc@indiana.edu.

Trinity College thanks you for participating in this survey. We expect that the information you and other students provide will identify areas where we can improve and will lead to constructive changes for Trinity College.
