The Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports at Trinity College will host the 4th Annual Golden Child Awards Charity Basketball Tournament, Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13. The Charity Tournament benefits a child who has been through a physical and/or mental challenge due to an injury or an adverse condition. Proceeds go towards unpaid medical expenses and/or future education. This year’s Golden Child is 10-year old Erica Shaheed, who was the victim of a critical hit and run by a drunk driver in September 2002.

Tournament play begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, June 12, and at 9:45 am on Sunday, June 13.
