At the Washington Business Journal's Awards Dinner, the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports was named the "Best Real Estate Deal of 2003" in the "Special Use Facility" category.
More than 120 real estate projects throughout the Washington region were nominated for the Washington Business Journal's Best Real Estate Deals of 2003. The Trinity Center was selected by the panel of judges as one of three finalists in the Special Use Facility category earlier this spring. At the April 29 awards dinner, President Patricia McGuire was presented with an award by WBJ Publisher Alex Orfinger and Editor Beth Zacharias, naming the Trinity Center as Best Real Estate Deal in the Special Use Facility category. A delegation of Trinity staff joined President McGuire at the podium as she received the award.
More than 600 leaders in the Washington real estate business were at the dinner, held at the International Trade Center Building, representing developers, architects, law firms, banks and commercial real estate firms.
The Trinity Center project is featured in a special Best Real Estate Deals supplement in the April 30 edition of the Washington Business Journal.
"This is a great honor for Trinity, and provides excellent visibility for Trinity and the Trinity Center in the Washington business community," said Ann Pauley, vice president for institutional advancement. "The award from the Washington Business Journal is also a great tribute to President McGuire for her vision of the Trinity Center, and her commitment to making that vision a reality!"
