Trinity College is a proud sponsor of the 1st annual YWCA Girls Sports EXPO on Saturday, April 17, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is hosting the all-day event at the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports! Created by the YWCA of the National Capital Area, the Girls Sports EXPO, "Get in the Game!", provides an exciting variety of activities and programs for young women and girls 8 to 18. Participants will learn about developing athletic skills, living a healthy lifestyle and choosing a career in sports. Activities include basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, rock climbing, rollerblading, swimming, martial arts, golf and much more. Meet Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes and other women athletes.

Participants under 18 must bring a signed waiver with parental consent. Participants are also required to wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes with non-markable soles. HOW TO GET TO THE EXPO

METRO
Getting to the EXPO is easy, and Metro is the way to go! You can reach the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports by taking Metro’s RED line to Brookland/CUA and exit at 10th street. A FREE EXPO shuttle will take you from the Metro station to the Trinity Center. The EXPO shuttle will run all day from the Trinity Center to Brookland Metro station.

Please note that Metrorail service to the Brookland station will be suspended on Saturday, April 17. Metro will provide a free Metro shuttle to the Brookland Metro from Fort Totten and Union Station. From the Brookland station, you can board the free EXPO shuttle to the EXPO at Trinity. There will also be free EXPO shuttles departing from Union Station to the EXPO at Trinity. ON THE ROAD
