The Trinity Tigers basketball team won the first three home
games played in the new Trinity Center for Women and Girls in
Sports. In the very first game played in the Trinity Center,
January 21, 2003, the Tigers were victorious over Hood College,
54-50, in a close, edge-of-your-seat match with the Maryland
team.
Trinity continued its winning streak with a 64-47 win over Lancaster
Bible College, and a come-from-behind win against Chestnut Hill
College, 70-68.
In the first home basketball game in the new Trinity Center,
the following "firsts" were achieved by the Tigers:
First Win: Game 1, January 21, 2003 vs. Hood College

First 3 Pointer: Martina Wheeler, sophomore, Capitol

First Assist: Tylisa Morris, sophomore, Baltimore,

First Block: Martina Wheeler

First Rebound: Becky Worsham
First Steal: Tylisa Morris
