 The
Topping Off Ceremony
As part of this year's Founders' Day festivities, Trinity
held a special "Topping Off" celebration in
front of the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports
construction site.
During a construction project, it is a tradition to
have a "topping off" celebration when the
highest and last beam is welded into place. In honor
of this event, Trinity students, athletes, faculty and
staff gathered to raise the U.S. and College flag to
the very top of the Trinity Center for Women and Girls
in Sports.
Before the flags were raised, President McGuire spoke
about the importance of marking this signicifant milestone
for Trinity and for the Trinity Center. After the celebration,
members of the Trinity toured the construction site.
