| Trinity hosted a two-day
workshop for the Challenger Center for Space Science Education
on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9.
Founded by NASA, the Challenger Center, in collaboration with
the District of Columbia Public Schools, is providing a training
workshop on 6th grade earth and space science.
This workshop was in preparation for "Journey through
the Universe Week," also held at Trinity College annually
during late October. This year, during the week of October 21-25,
Trinity will take part again in bringing together 40-50 NASA
space scientists with DC Public Schools 6th and 7th grade teachers
and students.
