This workshop will introduce the gradebook functionality within Moodle. Among the topics covered will be setting up and navigating within your gradebook, utilizing categories, managing extra credit, leaving feedback, and weighting grades. Participants are encouraged to bring a course syllabus to this workshop to receive advice on configuring your gradebook.
After the successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Configure the Moodle Gradebook based on grading criteria from a syllabus
- Understand the grading aggregations options provided in Moodle
- Utilize categories to group assignments
- Enter grades and provide feedback to students
