Students participate in Sunday Mass at the Shrine.  Sunday Mass ‘en espanol’ is celebrated at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (The Shrine) at 1:30, and local parishes, such as St. Martin Church with gospel choir, offer Mass at 12 noon each  Sunday… see below, or check the bulletin board outside the ‘Chapel in Main’ for listings.

Catholic Mass on Wednesdays at 12:10 noon- Come to Chapel in Main, Second Floor

  • Sign up to read (lector) and serve
  • We are blessed to have Fr. Frank DeSiano, C.S.P., preside at our Wednesday Mass at 12:10.
  • Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Trinity Gospel Choir

Monday evenings, 7pm, Chapel in Main – masks mandatory

Mr. Samuel Cromwell directs Trinity’s Gospel Choir, now 10 years strong!
Students sing together, along with alumnae and alumni from the area, and staff to form the gospel choir.
This is offered as a one-credit course- see your academic advisor to register for the one-credit option.

 

Muslim Prayer Room and Interfaith Reflection and Prayer

The Muslim prayer room is located in Main 477 and is available for prayer throughout the day. The door is open.
And, on Mondays at 3pm, a meditation exercise is shared for students who wish to participate.  Meet in chapel with Sr. Ann Howard, for this centering experience.

Off-campus Catholic Worship Opportunities

Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (The nation’s largest Catholic Church, just up the street from Trinity):

  • Saturday, 5:15 pm (Vigil Mass for Sunday)

  • Sunday, 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 pm (Choir), 1:30 pm (en español), 4:30 pm

  • Weekdays, 7 am, 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 8:30 am, 12:10 noon, and 5:15 pm Crypt Church below the Basilica

Catholic Parish – St. Martin of Tours, 1906 North Capitol St.  NW, Washington, DC: Saturday 5pm, Sunday, 9am and 12 noon (Gospel Choir music)
