Students do some heavy cleaning and sorting as part of their service work.

After a long day of service and learning, evening is a good time to reflect on the historical battle for civil rights and the adverse effects of poverty on human lives  Reflection is a crucial part of ASB (Alternative Spring Break), and writing in a journal helps students to process their experiences and explore ideas.
