Joanne and William Conway Establish Nursing Scholarship Program at Trinity Washington University

May 15, 2013 - Trinity Washington University President Patricia McGuire announced the establishment of the Joanne and William Conway Scholarship Program for high-achieving, low-income students who intend to enter the nursing profession. Trinity and Georgetown University Partner with KIPP Charter Schools to Increase College Completion Rates

November 27, 2012 - KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program), the nation’s largest nonprofit charter school network, announced that it will partner with both Trinity Washington University and Georgetown University in an effort to increase college completion rates for underserved KIPP students nationwide. New Two-Car Elevator Opens in Main Hall

January 10, 2012 - Trinity is pleased to announce that a new two-car elevator is now servicing Main Hall. Thanks to the generosity of alumnae who have responded so remarkably to Trinity Annual Fund appeals over the last several years, Trinity had the financial resources to build a second elevator. The installation of the elevator was a major project during the summer and fall of 2011, starting with demolition to clear the way for the new elevator shafts, and then the construction of the shafts and installation of the elevators. Trinity Posts Record Enrollment With More than 2,550 Students

October 25, 2011 - President Patricia McGuire announced that Trinity’s fall 2011 enrollment is 2,555, an all-time high in the history of Trinity. This record enrollment reflects an enrollment growth of 93% since 2001 and an increase of 11% over fall 2010. The fall enrollment includes more than 775 new students in all four schools. In the College of Arts and Sciences, Trinity’s historic women’s college, 996 students are enrolled. This is the largest women’s college enrollment in Trinity’s history; the women’s college has grown by 135% since 2001.
