D.C. Public Schools Chancellor Kaya Henderson to Speak and Be Honored at Trinity’s Commencement

May 1, 2014 - President Patricia McGuire announced that D.C. Public Schools Chancellor Kaya Henderson will be the 2014 Commencement speaker and honoree at Trinity Washington University. “I am very honored to work with Chancellor Henderson on RaiseDC and other important initiatives to improve educational outcomes for the D.C. May 6, 2013 - Howard University will honor President Patricia McGuire at its 145th Commencement Convocation on Saturday, May 11, 2013. President McGuire will be awarded an honorary degree for her transformation of Trinity since she became president in 1989, her leadership role in higher education both locally and nationally, and her many contributions to the Washington community.
