Elections aren’t just about politics – they are about policy and laws that affects you and your family! Everyone will be affected by last week’s election – the Republicans now have control over the Senate and the House; the Maryland governor’s race had surprising results; there are now 100 women in Congress; and for just the second time in DC’s history, a woman will be mayor.

Whatever issues you care about – immigration, education, federal student aid, fair wages, the economy, affordable health care, jobs, taxes, women’s rights, civil rights, human rights, international relations, the climate for business – you can be sure that policies on the national, state and local level will change! And, the recent election results are already making an impact on the 2016 Presidential Election – which is just around the corner!

So what does this all mean for you? Be sure to attend this week’s lively Election De-Brief: Wednesday, November 12, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Social Hall.

Listen in on the conversation! Ask questions! Voice your own opinions! Take Trinity’s Presidential Campaign 2016 poll! Engage!

See you this Wednesday, 3:00 pm, Social Hall.
