Trinity Student Sydney Cross Elected National Secretary of the Black Caucus of the College Democrats of America

sydney_cross.JPGTrinity student Sydney Cross, who is in Denver, Colorado, this week attending the Democratic National Convention, was elected by her peers to become the National Secretary of the Black Caucus of the College Democrats of America.  Cross, who is an international affairs major from Missouri, is also participating in the National Convention of the College Democrats of America this week.  During her time attending both conventions, she has participated in state delegation meetings, an interfaith gathering, and a Congressional Black Caucus forum.  She was on the convention floor to hear Senator Hillary Clinton and former Governor Mark Warner. “The room was purely electrifying and I have never experienced anything like it before. ”
