The Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence at Trinity is hosting its third annual Academic Colloquium on intelligence issues on Friday, April 20, 2007. “Public Policy and National Intelligence in a Changing Landscape” is the theme for this year’s program, which is sponsored by a grant from the U.S. Intelligence Community.
Featured speakers include Congressman Alcee Hastings (D-FL); Joan Dempsey, former Deputy Director of the CIA, and current Vice President for Intelligence Operations, Booz Allen Hamilton; and Denis Clift, President, National Defense Intelligence College, who will speak on “The Accountability of Intelligence.”
Registration is free to the day-long program and is open to students, faculty and staff at all colleges and universities in the region; high school students, counselors and teachers; professionals in the intelligence field; and others who have an interest in intelligence careers.

The Colloquium begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. in Trinity’s Main Hall; the opening session is at 9:15 a.m. and the program concludes at 4:00 p.m. Trinity provides a free shuttle to and from the Brookland Metro on the Red Line.
