With families and friends looking on and beaming with pride, more than 100 new U.S. citizens were sworn in today at a ceremony presided over by the Honorable Paul Friedman, Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Judge Friedman invited Trinity President Patricia McGuire to be the featured speaker at the morning ceremony in a large federal courtroom.

“Congratulations to all new citizens of the United States,” said McGuire. “You have taken a courageous step to ensure the future of your families in freedom and justice.”
